                                    ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

NOVEMBER 13, 2009

 

12:15P.M.        Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe,

                        Richard B.Gorden, Ellen W. Abelson and Mark J.

                        Mazur.

 

1.   The Board signed a Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement and

      a Statement of Entry into Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement

      for a new clause 41A deferral.

 

2.   The Board took the following actions on fiscal year 2010

      applications for exemptions for the owners of the following

      properties:

3.   The Board reviewed a clause 41A application for someone who

      passed away after filing their application. The Board did not act

      on the application, because according to attorney’s from the State

      Department of Revenue such an application becomes invalid when

      the applicant dies.

 

4.   The Board asked the Administrative Assessor to research open

      meeting laws to make sure that we are in compliance with them.

 

5.   The Administrative Assessor described the status of our FY 2010

      preliminary certification review by the state.

 

6.   The Board took the following actions on FY 2011 applications for

      classification under Chapter 61A or 61B.

      Franksim Properties Inc.     61B     Granted     for two parcels

     Walpole Country Club         61B     Granted     for one parcel

      Parrish Family Trust            61A    Granted     for one parcel

 

1:15P.M.          The Board voted to go into Executive Session.

 

1:35P.M.          The Board returned from its’ Executive Session.
